Crenova Trail Camera 1080p Hd Wildlife Camera
In this article, we review the Crenova Trail Camera 1080p Hd Wildlife Camera. This camera packages so much inside its camouflaged, tough looking exterior, hard-shell casing.
The casing is made of hard plastic and metal. The build is of good quality and therefore sturdier than other Trail Cameras. This camera is designed to capture wildlife on film and it achieves this aim.
The video capture is crystal clear. Although the camera is described as a 12-megapixel camera, the sensor is a 5 Megapixel (2592*1944) CMOS Sensor. Lens specifications are : f=3.56; F/NO=2.8; FOV=130°; Auto IR filter.
There is a choice of video and photo resolutions. Video settings are 920×1080 (15fps),1280 x 720 (30fps), 848×480 (30fps), 640×480 (30fps) Camera settings are: 5, 8 and 12 MP. Obviously, the higher you set the resolutions the more space it takes on any SD card you fit.
Wide Angle Lens
The lens features a 130°wide angle view with up to 65ft distance covered. Detection angle of the sensors are 60 degrees centre, and thirty degrees on each side sensor, therefore making up the 130 degrees viewing angle.
The lens flashes in an ultra-fast 0.4 seconds which means you’re unlikely to miss any wildlife (also humans) that comes past the camera.
This camera features great night vision. It is made possible by the bank of 42 black, dimmed Infrared LEDs. This, therefore, gives a night vision range of up to 20 metres.
Storage is by SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB (these are not included.) It is powered by 8 x AA rechargeable batteries (also not supplied). This gives a standby time of approximately 6 months. The battery compartment and control panel is also easy to access when outdoors. We would, therefore, advise prolonging the life by attaching the camera to a solar panel (12V and 1-2A , connector: DC 3.5mm )
The connections are mini USB and tv out.
